THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD

Elettrizzante colonna sonora dell’ormai famoso film di Dan O’Bannon, Il Ritorno dei Morti Viventi. Nel cd della Restless Record troviamo dieci tracce (attenzione all’inspiegabile "fregatura" da parte della Restless, è assente infatti la traccia The Trioxine, quella iniziale del film durante i titoli introduttivi) per un totale complessivo di circa trenta minuti.

Probabilmente una delle migliori colonne sonore partorite per un film horror come questo: il produttore Tom Fox e lo stesso Bannon, all'epoca, avevano fatto decisamente centro (non a caso sono poi usciti altri due seguiti) puntando su una base musicale condita principalmente da brani rock e hard rock. E infatti la pellicola si addice perfettamente alle musiche che suonano incessantemente come in un lungo videoclip a tinte forti. 

Le tracce di maggiore rilevo a mio avviso rimangono quelle dei SSQ con Tonight (We’ll Make Love Until We Die) e Trash’s Theme, Burn The Flames di Roky Erickson e Partyme (zombie version) dei 45 Grave.

Electrifying soundtrack of the by now famous film of Dan O'Bannon, The Return of the Living Dead. In the cd of the Restless Record find ten traces (attention to the inexplicable "cheat" from part of the Restless, is absent in fact the trace The Trioxine, the initial one of the film during the introductory titles) for a total general of around thirty minutes.

Probably an of the best soundtrack gives birth to horror like this for a film: the manufacturing Tom Fox and the same Bannon, to the epoch, they had done center decidedly (not at random is then gone out other two successions) aiming on a musical seasoned base mainly from passages rock and hard rock. And in fact the film is suitable perfectly to the music that play continually like in an along videoclip to strong shades.

The traces more good person takes away again to my notice they stay those of the SSQ with Tonight (We'll Make Love Until We Die) and Trash’s Theme, Burn The Flames of Roky Erickson and Partyme (zombie version) of the 45 Grave.
