E’ uscito “Those Who”, primo singolo estratto dall’album d’esordio di BOA, a.k.a. Lorenzo Bonarini, dal titolo “Bag of Seeds”, in pubblicazione il prossimo autunno per la storica Seahorse Recordings di Paolo Messere.
“Those who” è non avere confini, nella testa e nel cuore. Tutto può essere giusto e tutto può essere sbagliato, dipende da qual è il nostro punto di osservazione, da quanto è sfuocata la nostra lente, da quanto è vasto il nostro orizzonte.

Lorenzo Bonarini, in arte Boa, è un cantautore veneto che ha esplorato vari generi musicali. Ha scritto musica per vari contesti: dal jazz (con numerosi musicisti della scena padovana) alle colonne sonore (con il laboratorio di cinema Zalab) fino all’Hip Hop (con i Dozhens) ed al reggae-dancehall insieme al Bom Chilom Sound, accarezzando anche il cantautorato ed il grunge rock.
Ha studiato armonia e chitarra jazz privatamente, frequentando corsi e seminari (Nuoro Jazz, Chioggia Summer Workshop) con grandi maestri della chitarra jazz come Bebo Ferra, Rory Stuart, Daniele Santimone.
Da qualche anno ha approfondito lo studio del canto con Giuseppe Lopizzo, vocal coach tra gli altri per Gaetano Curreri (Stadio).
L’album “Bag of Seeds”, in uscita nell’autunno 2019 per la storica Seahorse Recordings, era nato come omaggio a Leonard Cohen ma inevitabilmente il seme ha germogliato e la musica è andata in tante direzioni diverse.
L’album è stato suonato, concepito e arrangiato tutto in una stanza: una traversata solitaria di un paio di settimane. A fine Maggio 2019, Boa è stato invitato ad esibirsi a New York, un’avventura che verrà documentata nel video del brano “Bag of Seeds”.
